About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Management Analyst to join our Transformation Team. The Data Management Analyst plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s data foundation, ensuring data is accurate, consistent, and strategically leveraged across the business. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and analytics resources to establish strong data governance practices, drive data quality initiatives, and support enterprise transformation efforts. The ideal candidate is both detail-oriented and strategic, with a passion for building data structures that enable smarter decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Standards & Governance: You will define and maintain enterprise data standards, vocabulary, and governance frameworks that ensure consistency, clarity, and accountability across the organization. This includes partnering with business teams to advise on data strategy, embed governance practices into daily operations, and reinforce long-term adoption.
  • Data Quality & Management: You will lead data cleanup and quality-improvement initiatives to build and sustain clean, reliable, and trusted data sets. This involves identifying issues, addressing root causes, and implementing ongoing controls that strengthen data integrity.
  • Analytics & Reporting Leadership: You will oversee Power BI development efforts to deliver impactful dashboards, reports, and visualizations aligned with business needs and data governance standards. This includes translating requirements into clear specifications and guiding developers toward high-quality analytical outputs.
  • Transformation & Technology Enablement: You will collaborate on major transformation initiatives involving process automation, system integrations, and analytics enhancements. Your role ensures data considerations are integrated into solution design and that scalable, efficient data processes are established.

Competencies and Position Requirements

  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, metadata management, and data quality principles.
  • Experience working with Power BI or similar BI tools; ability to guide developers and interpret business reporting needs.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Experience with process automation, system integrations, or enterprise transformation projects is a plus.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, data management, business analytics, or a related field.
  • 3 or more years of experience in data management, data governance, project management, business intelligence, or related disciplines.

The expected salary range for candidates in the Massachusetts market is $74,447 - $111,725 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
